Whew! Just in case you think all we do is cook and hike... we do take breaks... this evening, we are having a cold one...
It's a bit nippy out and the fire will keep us nice and toasty warm.

Ahhhh... so nice and warm...
It's even getting dark out! In the summer, you'd have to have a fire at 10 pm to have it get dark out... but this is 4:30 pm... much better for early-to-bed folks!
And the light strings came on too... and no we did not do smores... the marshmallows are so old you'd need a chisel to get them apart!
But it was still nice to sit and enjoy the fire. Although we do need to add marshmallows to the grocery list! Hmph...
