More Mouse Mail!!

I got some more mail (a few weeks back)!!!

This one is another brown envelope. I know what's inside these now!!!

Oooohhhh... 3 Bus Guides!!!!

This is the 205... we just read Beanie's blog about it.

It goes all over the place - from Paddington Stn all the way to East London and beyond!

I want to go to London. Sigh.

And then there's the 507...

It goes from Victoria down to Waterloo Station across the Thames... hmmm... kind of a short bus.

But might come in handy one day!

And this is a revised version of #14!! We got the prototype initially and this is a real copy!

Beanie got a long arm stapler so the staples can go down the middle...

Excellent!! Thanks Beanie! You can see the Bus Guides in Beanie's Etsy Shop!

And then we got this card... it's a regular Beanie card!!

With cat stamps...

I think it's a bit weird for mice to use cat stamps but... hey... whatever floats your boat!

It's a lovely card!

With the latest Case of the Missing Bullion prize!!!!

It's the Diversity Coin - we solved the clue ages ago!

Thanks Beanie!!!

And we got a postcard from Alaska!!! That's where Little Fox went this summer!!

Little Fox had a great time hiking and saw lots of wildlife!!! Cool!!!

Maybe I'll get to Alaska one day... I'd like to go to Hyder... cause it's driveable from BC!

And another postcard... this one is of the Angel Oak!!! Oooohhh... that is one BIG tree!!!

It's like 25.5 feet around the trunk!!! Whoa... that's a big tree! And it's about 400-500 years old. Amazing!

It's known as a Live Oak (well... of course it is... otherwise it would be a dead oak!).

The card is from Ajdin!!! Ajdin did a tour of the SE USA... he saw a LOT of cool stuff!

Ajdin wants to know if we have oak trees where we live... yes we do!!! We have the Garry Oak trees!! They are part of a threatened ecosystem...

And another postcard!!!!

This one is from Cocoa!! He's in England visiting his Beanie Mouse cousins and having a fantastic time!

I wish I was there too... sigh.

Maybe Cocoa will come home soon???

Alright... one more thing. I had commented earlier about how these plain brown envelopes really aren't a typical Beanie Mouse mailer...

Oooh... look at that... Use up your non-barcoded stamps  by 2023... huh... that's weird. Maybe this is why we are getting so many cat stamps!! Beanie must have a stash...

OK... that wasn't what I wanted to show you... look inside the brown envelope...

It's got a fancy gold lining!!!!

Now THAT is what I expect  from Beanie Mouse!!!

Mystery Mail!

***Editor's Note*** - Sandy is actually in the USA at the moment... this is a pre-recorded episode...

We received some mail!!

And... it's addressed to Sherlock Sandy (that's me) AND Cocoa!!! Yay!!

Cocoa is beary happy but wonders if it should be Dr. Cocoa Watson (sigh... give them an inch and they take a mile!)

Anyhow... it's from the Ministry of Puzzles!

We haven't had mail from the Ministry for quite a while... likely due to staffing issues and supply chain issues. You know how it is.

And at the bottom it says... "Please Help"!!!

There are 2 pieces of mail in here.... this letter...

And this blank page...

Let's look at the letter first...

It says...
"Dear Sherlock Sandy,
I am dispatching this letter to you with great urgency in
hopes that you will receive it in time.
My trip to [burnt out part] did not go as planned. In fact, it was
a total disaster. I cannot carry out my duties to return the
[insect chew piece] to its rightful owner. As a fellow adventurer, I
ask that you complete my mission.
I trust that you will keep this a secret, as the fate of the
world depends on it...
Regards,
Ajdin Adilovic

Wait... what???!!!! The fate of the world!!?? This letter was mailed on May 2 and we just got it!! What is going on with the postal service when the fate of the world could rest on this letter???!!

"Keep this a secret"... should be blogging about this???

And what's with the blank piece of paper??

Oh wait... there are very faint marks on it...

Perhaps it was written with invisible ink!!!

But how do we make it visible?

Will it tell us what is in the missing bits of the letter??

And who were the insects that chew that word out???
