More Mail!

 Hullo... we received more mail today! And I say "we" because... this letter was addressed to the mice as well! Sherlock Sandy, Dr. Cocoa Watson and Inspector Navy Lestrade...

It's another lovely card created by Beanie Mouse...

And it's got our bullion prize from the last case we worked on!

This one says....

He is with singer P. Pears ajoin'd.
Who is he? 

Well "heptagonal" means 7-sided so we are looking for a 50p piece!

And centenary means it's celebrating 100 years...

It's elementary dear Watson (and Lestrade... don't leave Lestrade out of this...)

We have solved the case!!

The coin is for Benjamin Britten, born in 1913... Solved!!

 

 

 

Mail Call!

 Hullo! We received some mail!

And yes, this stuffie tends to get more personal mail than the humans! Hah!

But one of these items is from someone beary special... that we haven't heard from in ages!

But first is a card from Jerry & Ben...

Ooohh... a beary pretty flower card.

And a long written card! Their Papa is on sabbatical this year and is writing another book. And is going to Japan and Montreal this fall...

There's also a sticker from Caribou Coffee... We had a Caribou hot chocolate several years ago in Denver and it was beary delicious!

Thanks guys! Although this little bear wants to know if Jerry & Ben will be going to Japan and Montreal as well...

Next up... we have a parcel from Hammie Hamster in Holland (or The Netherlands)... Hammie used to have a blog like us but then there were technical issues, so Hammie continued on Instagram but we haven't heard from Hammie in ages!!!

And now a parcel out of the blue!

Let's see what this... oooooooooooohhhhh...

O.M.G. Hammie's mom has been producing hand-made journals and selling them on her website. We really wanted to buy one but the shipping was extremely expensive...

But.. it's a journal from Hammie's mom!!!!!

Gea says she closed down her website because it cost a tonne of money (yes they do!) and she wasn't selling enough on the site to justify the cost... That's too bad. Although she is selling some on the side (which is good).

That seems like a good addition!

And a magnetic book mark! Those are much better than turning over a couple of page corners!

Oh, and a little corner note... hmmmm... it's supposed to missing an F... "Resistance is Utile"?? Apparently "utile" means "useful"... and it was used before "useful" came on the scene! Cool... That'll be a good one to keep in your backpocket for Scrabble... Somebody puts "tile" down and you can score big with that "u"!
