Vegas's Mini-France

Hullo! Today we are headed next door to our hotel... to Paris! We are not sure why there is a golden horse outside of Planet Hollywood...

Right... here we are... do you seeeee??? They have an Arc de Triomphe!!

And an Eiffel Tower!!

Plus a beary fancy hotel...

I wonder if they sell hot chocolate in here...

We are walking to the Arc... it's taking a while...

Cause Mama and her sister are taking all sorts of pictures of architecture... they went to Paris together way back in the olden days...

Ta-dah!!! The Arc in miniature... obviously not as big as the one in Paris but still...

A pretty good replica...

And we got a pic with both the Eiffel Tower and the Arc!!

Let's get closer... so we scampered across the 3 lanes of hotel entry lanes and over the chain fence and...

They even have the engravings on the inside...

Bears in Paris

I was reading the news the other day and... did you know that huge stuffie bears are taking over Paris??

It's true!!

See... they are helping patrons at this cafe practice social distancing... Cool!!

Tour de Paris

Hello... we are off again today on a whirlwind tour of Paris. A quick peek at Moulin Rouge (just the outside!)...

And then we hiked all the way to Sacre Coeur... cool!

I think I'm losing weight on this trip, there is so much walking...

I'm not sure where we are here... somewhere in some Arrondiseement

It's the flagship store of Laduree!!

What a pretty building...

Ooohhh... so many options...

 After eating... we went to the catacombs!

I'm not up on my French history so am not sure why all these bones are here... Ben? Any ideas?

At least it's neatly organised!

But I really wonder who all these people are...

Then... it was off to the Luxemburg Gardens!

It was super hot today but... I managed to stay out of the water (no Rubbermaid container to float in).

Pooped... and... I'm ready to head back to North America for my onward journey to Jerry & Ben!

Paris Meanderings

Bonjour!! We are having a bit of a break and eating a quick lunch. It has been a beary long morning already!! (That's Rose's Dad...)

Mmm... salami on baguette!!

We walked along the Seine today and had a peek at Notre Dame... You remember what happened to Notre Dame this year?

The roof went up in flames and it's going to be years and years before it's fixed.

Rose's mom's favourite bit is the gargoyle rain spout things up on the towers... they are still there (I think)...

We also walked by the Musée d'Orsay... it's a big museum...

It has a horse statue out front that is one of Mama's favourites... this is a pic from the web...

We didn't go there on this trip... that means I'll have to come back some day!

There are lots of other statues though... I think this guy is losing his balance!

OW!!! Maybe cause the fish here bite!!

Oohhh... a nice lion!

I wonder if he's related to my stuffie pal Leo?

Whew... a LOT of walking today and we ended up in...
