Bus Bingo Prize Mail!

Now, now, let's not get our noses out of joint... it could be a simple innocent mistake?

From our COUSIN no less! What are we?? Minced cheese curds? Hmph!!!!

That seems like a good addition!

And a magnetic book mark! Those are much better than turning over a couple of page corners!

Oh, and a little corner note... hmmmm... it's supposed to missing an F... "Resistance is Utile"?? Apparently "utile" means "useful"... and it was used before "useful" came on the scene! Cool... That'll be a good one to keep in your backpocket for Scrabble... Somebody puts "tile" down and you can score big with that "u"!

Who you calling peanuts???? We are NOT peanuts, even if we are small... we may be be small but we are mighty!!  I think we should make up our VERY OWN bus bingo cards... so we can get our VERY OWN prizes. Hmph (x2).

Ummm... so yeah... Beanie... any thoughts??

A New Bus Bingo Card!!

 Hullo... we are working on our new Bus Bingo card... 

We have to come up with bus numbers and we are having a discussion about how best to do that...

We could just go... Bus 1 to Bus 25?

Or Bus 26 to Bus 51? Or we could do like... numbers ending in 6 in a row... or a column... etc...

Hmmm...  or... we could go with the most popular routes by ridership... although Beanie does not necessarily follow the crowd... We mulled and we mulled...

But finally we came up with a strategy!!!

But we are NOT sharing our strategy because then Beanie changes their travel patterns!!!!!

There... that's our first iteration... and then we checked for duplicates...

And consulted old Bus Bingo cards and made a few changes...

So here it is! Bus Bingo #8...

More Mail!

 Hullo!! I totally forgot... we had some earlier mail that I never posted! It's a packet from Beanie Mouse & Co.

And yes... if you are wondering where the two squabbling mice are... I locked the door. Sometimes a bear just needs peace and quiet. Perhaps I should hire Professor Dogmund Freud... to offer mediation and counselling??

New Bus Bingo Card

Hullo. As noted in the last post, we need to make up a new Bus Bingo card for Beanie Mouse's bus adventures. We always give this a fair bit of thought. Sometimes the thoughts pay off... sometimes not.

By the way... we always (almost always) put #11 in the middle, cause it's a key spot. And didn't you know it... Transport London changed the bus route so it starts from Waterloo Station and not Victoria!! So it took forever to get that square on our last Bus Bingo card... hmph.

Anyhow... there's our spread. We started it last week, so we already have 4 squares marked off!!! That's pretty good already. Notice there is NO #11 on this one. (Hmph). And we did have #88 twice (sigh), so we changed one of those to a 7.

We learned a few things on our last trip to London... and so this time... our secret sauce was this...

We went onto the TFL site and looked at all of the buses that go by the big train stations that Beanie likes to frequent... places like Victoria, Blackfriar's, etc...

Who was it that said... "Know thine Stuffie?"... (Sun Tzu.... but he didn't use Stuffie (of course)).

Anyhow... we'll see if it works. Once we exhausted those numbers, we chose some random ones... And #65 was a shoe-in for the centre because we know how much Beanie loves Kew Gardens and Richmond! We'll see how this one pans out!
