Hullo... literally... we are on the Hullo ferry!!! Some people pronounce it like "Hoo-low". It is not prounced like a hula hoop. No. It is Hullo!
Anyhow... we are going over to Vancouver... that is the Gabriola Island ferry... it is electric!
It's a bit damp out there... but that's ok... I have a backpack I can be accommodated in...
And here we are in Vancouver. Seriously, the Hullo ferry is so beary civilized...
Expensive yes... but soooo convenient!
After a bus ride or two... and some other activities... we ended up at Starbucks! With someone else... can you guess??

Yes!! It's Rose!!!!
So excited to see Rose!!!!
She was telling us about her job at the theatre...
She is a working as a swing hand or something... swing stage thingie? Basically she fills in for other stage hands when they have a day off or get sick... She has to memorize all sorts of prop hand offs and stage changes and thingies...
It looks beary complicated... but she loves doing it and is beary happy with the job!
Which is good... you want to be happy with your job!
This stuffie would have trouble doing it... that's for sure...
We are going to see a play over there!! Is that Art Deco?

Rose got us free tickets in the second row!
Oooh... there's the stage... we were told we can't take pics of anything while the show is playing sooo...
We grabbed a few beforehand!! And it was a great show!
Afterwards Rose gave us a quick behind-the-scenes tour...
There's lots of switches and things...
And she had to go up this ladder to do stuff up there.
Pulling fly levers and goodness knows what...
It's all Greek to me but she does get a good view of the stage from up here...
Ah-hem... ladies and gentleman...
It is I, Alexander Mackenzie Bear, Explorer Extrordinaire... Renaissance Bear and... where'd everyone go???
Ah well... I don't think I have a career in stage... afterwards we went back to Rose's place and had a staring contest with Lexie... who seems to think that I am some toy brought by Mama...
No Lexie. NOT a toy... NOT!

Seriously... a bear gets no peace here! But it was great to have a quick visit and see Rose!
