A Mystery Trip

 Hullo!! Today we are packing our bags and suitcases because we are going on a trip!

We had to get up ridiculously early...

And drive to the airport, where we left the car for a friend to come and get later... which means we are going to be gone for a while!

We got on the little plane and the sun wasn't even up yet!

But it was a lovely flight over the strait...

Once at Vancouver airport, the first order of business was breakfast. A little bear needs to be kept fueled otherwise things go sideways!

That's better! Now... any idea where we are going??

You will never guess...

We are on a big plane!! And got an emergency exit seat with more legroom!

And landed... where?? It's obviously a FIFA host city...

Now can you guess??

Yes!! It's Toronto!! But we aren't staying here...

We are just catching a connecting flight to our final destination. What with all the layovers, this will be a 14 hour trip...

We could have flown to London in less time... hmph!

We arrived in the pitch dark after midnight and caught a taxi to our hotel...

Sorry, this little bear is exhaustipated... time to sleep... more adventuring in the next post.

The Dancing Bellagio Fountains

On another gorgeous day in Vegas, we went out (into the scorching heat) and hiked over to the Bellagio to see the fountains.

Almost there...

That's Caesar's in the background... it is sooooo hot!

This was a cool horse, fish thingie...

Can I go swimming???

Soooo hot!

Alright, let's keep moving...

Sooo many escalators and stairs to get across streets at this corner... but we are almost there... Did you know... Things in Vegas are Farther Away than they Appear!!

Finally!!!

And we're on time for some water show!

Ooohhhh...

Ahhhh!!!!

It's beary impressive!

I still want to go swimming though...

And we did end up at our hotel's pool.... sooo hot!

We found some shade... ahhhh...

It was nice...

I wonder if they serve Mead here?

Vegas's Mini-France

Hullo! Today we are headed next door to our hotel... to Paris! We are not sure why there is a golden horse outside of Planet Hollywood...

Right... here we are... do you seeeee??? They have an Arc de Triomphe!!

And an Eiffel Tower!!

Plus a beary fancy hotel...

I wonder if they sell hot chocolate in here...

We are walking to the Arc... it's taking a while...

Cause Mama and her sister are taking all sorts of pictures of architecture... they went to Paris together way back in the olden days...

Ta-dah!!! The Arc in miniature... obviously not as big as the one in Paris but still...

A pretty good replica...

And we got a pic with both the Eiffel Tower and the Arc!!

Let's get closer... so we scampered across the 3 lanes of hotel entry lanes and over the chain fence and...

They even have the engravings on the inside...

Beary nice...
