A Surprise at Comicon!

 ***Editor's Note - another adventure from before Sandy's departure and Cocoa's return...

Hullo!!! Guess where we are???

We are in Victoria!!!! At something called Comicon... don't ask us why... it's all a big secret apparently....

But there's lots of people dressed in costumes! So we blend right in!

I mean... who's going to question two stuffies when you've got all sorts of strange people walking around!

We've heard that Darth Vader is here!!!!  And Spiderman!!!!

There's sure an awful lot of people here...

Ooooh... we heard that Dr. Strange and the Scarlet Witch are here!! From the Marvel Movies... Oh... and there's Doom people... no... that's not right... that video game... oooh... Halo!! That's it!!!

Oh oh.... do you see it!!!!! It's Darth Vader and Boba Fett and that Darth Maul and R2D2 and... The Scarlet Witch?? (there's a juxtaposition of the multiverse for you!!).... ooohhh... she's using magic to hold her book of spells in the air.... ahhhh!!!!!

Oh and look... This is the blue thingie from Dr. Who... what's it called??? The TARDIS (Time And Relative Dimensions In Space)... I wonder if we can go in and go anwyhere?

It's pretty cool here... this is the conference centre where it's being held...

That's a huge totem pole!!

And we're also in the Crystal Gardens across the street from the Conference Centre... and that's the Empress Hotel!!!

And there's murals here too!!

Oh wait... there's the Scarlet Witch again... let's steer a wide berth around her... whew!

What a day!! We're exhaustipated!!!

Alrightee... let's get ready for our second day at Comicon!!! And look who's with us!

It's Rose!!! We totally lost her yesterday in the crowds!! This is her "Seriously... I'm getting my picture taken with stuffies???" face... but she's a good sport!!

And we've got some yummy food as well!!!

And we're here!! Let's go!!!

I think I'll get Darth Vader's signature today maybe... or Spiderman...

"You think that's a good idea??? You got nothing to write on... I mean... wait... do you feel that stare...?"

Aaahhhhhhhh it's the Scarlet Witch.... runnnnnn!!!!!!

Whew... I think we lost her... let's go down this way.... Did you see that funny face she made at us... she was going to cast a spell on us!!!

Ahhhhhh!!!!! There she is again!!! And with her book of spells!!!! Runnnn... wait... 

She's laughing... and... we know that laugh!!!!

OMGGGGGGGG!!!! It's NOT the Scarlet Witch!!! Well... it is... but it's not!!! 

I mean... can you blame us??? She's got a book of spells hanging in front of her!

And she's hanging out with legit superheros!!!

But  it's not the Scarlet Witch!

We know that giggle...

Rose!!!!

She made this costume herself!!! For months!!!!

And she won second prize in the Novice category (Dr. Strange got 3rd) and that lady in the middle got #1.

Isn't that cool???

She was in high demand for photos... apparently her next costume will be Thor related...

Everybody was impressed with the magic book!

Lots of photos...

But she's still happy to see us...

Although we did get a bit of the... "Seriously... stuffies... at a Comicon...??" Well... why not!?
