Crafty Cocoa Beanie

***editor's note - yes we are all caught up and are now blogging in real time!***

'allo!! Cocoa Beanie here! We are crafting today. Sandy's mom has a bunch of old cards and... we are going to repurpose them. This must be a Beanie Family thing...

Here we have a lovely Happy Birthday card from Droopy W. Dog...

But Droopy didn't write on the inside of the front flap so we cut that away...

And are going to stick it onto some cardstock... We just need more than "white" cardstock... Sandy's working on that...

And see... here's another Droopy creation... they are just too nice to leave languishing in a drawer somewhere... But need to be sent out into the world again to bring joy to some other stuffie!

And we're going to use these little double-stick bits to hold them down...

Yo, Sandy, how's it going with that cardstock??

Oh, it's going! There's a huge stack here but I'm still trying to find some good colours...

Oh... I see some colours...

Honestly... who needs this much cardstock???

Right then... now we line up the cardstock and use the fancy slicer/dicer to cut it to the right size...

Or rather get the human to work the slicer/dicer... I might lose a few toes if I do it myself!

And then it gets folded... into a card shape...

Double check that the picture fits... and...

Stick the sticky tags on the back... except... we need fingernails to pull the backing off...

Fingernail person... do the honours...

***editor's note... stuffies sure can be bossy***

And voila... we have a new card ready to go!

Actually, a whole pile of cards ready to go!! Cool...

Now someone just needs to clean up the sticky tag bits...  there's always a mess after crafting!

  1. Actually, in Beanie French, it's "Ay Viola". Cocoa's not been keeping up with his French lessons.....!!! Really must start practising your Beanie-isms, you know.....

  2. That slicer diced sure makes the cards look professional.
