Waterfalls...

Hullo... I am off on another adventure today, starting with some Wild Hyacinth... also know as ...

Spanish Bluebells... we don't get English Bluebells here... so these are the next best thing.

We were here a few days ago and had a nice little adventure, but today... we are going in the opposite direction.

Here's the first pond again...

It's drizzling a bit but... drizzle never stopped a stuffie from an adventure.

This is the outflow from the first pond... we are going to follow it downstream because I can hear a waterfall!

And I want to see it while it's still relatively wet here and there is good flow. Ready? Let's go!

Through the trees...

And then we slithered down this beary steep slope...

And found a second stream... I think it is the spillwater overflow from first pond

We want to get down there... eeks!

But, over here is the waterfall I was hearing... oooh... cool!

Let's slither our way down to the bottom.

And... made it!

It's not a bad waterfall...

If I go over these logs, I might get a better view...

And... we might only get this far... those are beary slickery!

This bear has no desire to slip into the creek...

But, getting this far netted us a beary nice view of the falls. I don't think they have a name so I am naming them Sandy Falls!

Why not, eh? These ostrich ferns are beary soft....

Now... we figured out a way to get across the creek because... we want to find a different route back to our starting point...

And there is a trail over here... lets go.

Another view of the falls...

Hmmm... there once was a fork in a green wood and... a little bear was perplexed...

Which way to go??

  2. Go West Young Bear.

Any wild fire smoke up there?

    1. Yep... we have been having Air Quality 10+ for days now (that's the highest ours goes...) it's extremely bad. Today we can actually see a bright orb in the sky trying to break through...
