A Side Trip to Niagara Falls (Seriously!)

We are taking a break from hunting art deco buildings to have a little hike. I got a lead on a good little waterfall hike...

Hmmm... Goldstream Provincial Park - I wonder if we're going to Goldstream Falls.

Nope... we're going to... wait... WHAT?!

It's Niagara Falls!!

Whoa?! Niagara Falls? Here? Let's check it out!

This is Niagara Creek... Funny, I always thought Niagara Falls would have more water?

Apparently, that culvert/tunnel connects to the parking lot on the other side of the highway... but it's flooded right now.

Good thing we parked on this side of the highway!

Here's the trail... let's go...

It's a nice little trail and it's so green here.

Maybe I should have a "Green alert"?

Umm... that's it? That teeny tiny waterfall?

I can barely see that!

 Teeny... tiny...

Oh wait... what's that over there?

Oooh... that looks bigger...

Let's scramble down.

... oof... to the creek...

Well, that's nice! It's 47.5 metres tall (155 feet).

Well, this was a worthwhile little hike. There is a longer one where we could go up to the top of the falls and then to a railway trestle bridge - that would be nice...

Maybe next time...
