Hullo! We didn't check the mailbox for almost a week and... I got mail!! Three pieces of mail, to be exact...
Before we get started... Jerry and Ben had sent a photograph via Whatsapp a few weeks ago... It was the first clue in a mystery! First National Bank... Sherlock Sandy looked closely at the photograph and saw the hitching post out front... Hmm... He did sleuthing of banks like this in the MN region and... suspected it was the bank in Northfield, MN which had a famous bank robber!
And... here we have another clue... It's a postcard of Jesse James! The bottom says... Northfield Bank Robber!!
With lists of words, got take a look.
Also gives meaning, both singular and plural
Of decimal coinage, half century, heptagonal
What is it??!"
Well... me thinks it's a dictionary coin!!! Oxford and Webster... and lists of words!! Must be a 50p coin too (half a century, heptagonal)...
Thanks Moriarty Mouse!!
And... we got another letter from Beanie!!
That mouse is one prolific mail-sender!
This is a hefty envelope with "craft supplies"... hmmm...
Oooh... and a beary cool card made with a page from an old book!
Beanie's creations are always soooo cool!
I joined an Instagram contest and... although I didn't win... Beanie sent me some spare envelopes!
That's so kind and thoughtful!
Seeee.... lots of cool envelopes!!
Thanks Beanie & Co!!!
Although... all this mail reminds me that I haven't sent anything for a while!! Mind you, I've been entertaining Very Distinguished Guests the last few weeks... and this little bear is pooped!
See... it's a commemoration of Johnson's Dictionary (which started in 1755)... whew!
Well at least you now have envelopes to send mail out with!!! Although you'll need to design some more cards.....
ReplyDeleteOh we always have more cards than envelopes somehow!
DeleteVery Distinguished Guests? Hmmm....Otto and Rose, by any chance?....
