And yet More Mail!

Hullo! We didn't check the mailbox for almost a week and... I got mail!! Three pieces of mail, to be exact...

Before we get started... Jerry and Ben had sent a photograph via Whatsapp a few weeks ago... It was the first clue in a mystery! First National Bank... Sherlock Sandy looked closely at the photograph and saw the hitching post out front... Hmm... He did sleuthing of banks like this in the MN region and... suspected it was the bank in Northfield, MN which had a famous bank robber!

And... here we have another clue... It's a postcard of Jesse James! The bottom says... Northfield Bank Robber!! 

Can I solve this puzzle??

I think so... that bank photo is definitely the bank (former bank) in Northfield MN!! In 1876, Jesse James and a bunch of other bandits tried to rob the bank but were stymied by a bank employee who said the safe was on a timer... Eventually the robbers ran off (when the citizens of the town came to the bank's rescue)... 

Jesse James must have escaped because the photograph on the postcard was taken in 1882...

Next up, we have some Beanie Mouse mail!!

 Beanie has apparently found a cache of stickers!

Seeeee... all sorts of stickers and stamps!

I really need to go and visit Gramma and see if she has more stickers that she wants to declutter...

Well... me thinks it's a dictionary coin!!! Oxford and Webster... and lists of words!! Must be a 50p coin too (half a century, heptagonal)...

See... it's a commemoration of Johnson's Dictionary (which started in 1755)... whew!
