Hullo! We have a bit of a mystery on our paws. You see... Mama need an 8.5x11" picture frame (yep, not metric on that yet)... and she found this one in a thrift store.
See... we have Greeting Card 2,466... and it's a linoprint on a vintage book page...
And this looks like it might be a linoprint... or is it a painting. And what's with the blue police box anyhow? And the red thing...
Oh... and it's NOT a blue police box. Well... it is... but it's really the Tardis from Doctor Who. Having never seen Doctor Who (oh shush with the gasps...) we aren't quite sure what it is. A time travel device? An interdimensional portal? Is that why there is a red alien creeping out the side of the box?? And what is the significance of the French dictionary? Thoughts??? Should we keep the picture???
Wait.... you're picture frames aren't in metric? Okay. I need to do some research on that
ReplyDeleteNope. Its complicated. Speed on highways is metric... grocery store items like meat and produce are mboth...with lbs often primary and kg prices in small print. Volumes of things like cans and milk are metric though. Lumber is in feet and inches.. and if you want photos printed... the are in inches. So is paper... confusing?!
ReplyDeleteDid you know you can do a reverse image search on google? Or search for Tardis prints on ebay or etsy, might result in a few ideas.....
ReplyDeleteI did that and there were a gazillion! Of the Tardis! On an old page!
DeleteWe hav wun like dat wiv an owl on it. I don't think the book matters. Just eny old page. Dat red thing looks like Spiderman but he duzzent go on Dr Hoo so i don't noe wats that abowt.
