Hullo!!! Today we have gathered to examine the entries for the Second (sort of) Annual Art Deco Architecture Contest!! We had two stellar entries... one from Beanie Mouse and one from Little Fox.
Right then... before we get started... we decided that in the interest of fairness we should have two categories...
Sooo... The first category is Old World Art Deco Architecture... which Cocoa will judge. And I will judge New World Art Deco Architecture!
Right then... let's look at the entries!
Beanie's entry for the Old World category is the BBC building in London! It is a stunning example of Art Deco architecture and Beanie & Co chose well in choosing this building!!
Cocoa Beanie thinks this is definitely a winner in the Old World category!! (And no... just because Cocoa is a Beanie doesn't mean nepotism is at work! Hmph... Look at that face... totally objective judging!)
Alright... next up is Little Fox's entry... the Baker City Tower in... Baker City of course...
Oooh... that is an amazing lookin building! Although I gather that the interior has not really survived all that well... Unlike
Vancouver's own Marine Building which blew us all out of the water. Sandy thinks that the Baker City Tower is a definite winner in the New World category!
Congrats to Little Fox and Beanie & Co!!! Thanks for entering the contest... we loved seeing the entries! And... prizes will be sent out soon...
HURRAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYY!!!!! That was very fairly judged!!!
