Hullo!! Some of you who follow the comments may have noticed that I used my super-sophisticated bear-interrogation techniques to get Mama to tell me that I am going to London (England!) this fall!! I am beary excited... I've been to London once before but that was a long time ago... almost 2.5 years.
Now... first off... I need to find the map of London to mark out all the places I want to go... Let me see... ***flip, flip, flip***
Hmmm... Luxembourg and France... I think that would be more Ben's cup of tea!
And this is just over the border in Germany... nope...
Hamsterdam!!! Oh, I wish I was going to Hamsterdam. Well... actually, we are going to Hamsterdam but only for a lay-over between flights, maybe 3 hours in total... not enough to vist my pals Hammie and Sullivan. Did you know Hamsterdam is named after Hammie's race? And then there is Brussels... I think Ben would like that too!
Nuremburg?? Sigh... we are getting farther away from London!
Oh... but Salzburg!!! I would like to go there some day!!! Ah-hem... mee mee mee... cough cough.... "The hills are alliiiivvveee with the sound of muuuusicccc!" Mama says I shouldn't quit my day job. Hmph!
And now... Berlin... sigh... Do we NOT have any maps of the British Isles??? Just continental Europe???
Ah-hah!! Here we go... a map of London....
And... a tiny Tube map... just the central part of course... and two Oyster cards, beary handy to have those when you land at the airport.
Now, let's see... Little Fox recommended Bearingham Palace... where is that? And Trafalbear Square - that sounds interesting. And of course... Big Ben!!! Named after our pal Ben, of course! But this map is beary unwieldy for a little bear.
This one is way more my size!
And guess what... I get to meet one of my blogger pals in London!!! Can you guess who it might be????

ReplyDeleteThanks Teddy! I hope I can pick up a beautiful Guards uniform like you are wearing. Little bears look so dashing in uniform!
DeleteI know I know I know!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteHeh-heh... shhhhhhh!!! I wish we could all have a blogger pal gathering one year. That would be loads of fun!
DeleteBEANIE!!!! Are we correct? We're SO jealous. But then again if Beanie is meeting you, Beanie is kind of meeting us too, since we are cousins!
ReplyDeleteYes!!! Beanie is going to come to London!! So excited...
DeleteBen, is that you? Or is that Sandy? Your outfits confuse me sometimes.
ReplyDeleteLook at that big box of maps you have. What a lucky bear you are to have traveled all over the world!
No, it's me... Ben and I have the same tailor... heh-heh! I would love to travel across Canada some day... and maybe back across the U.S.... that way I could meet all my blogger pals. At least the U.S. ones... there don't seem to be ANY stuffie bloggers north of the 49th parallel.... sigh.
DeleteA stuffie get together....oh that would be so much fun.
ReplyDeleteIt would! We could eat salmon and honey while the humans cook for us!
