Road Trip!!

Hullo!!! I am off on an adventure!! It is a super nice weekend and I finally convinced my people to take me out into the wilds. A road trip is always fun...

I, of course, am navigator... which is a beary important job.

I thought I would take a picture of this cup of Timmy's... it is the pretty much THE national coffee chain. But recently they have introduced a Dark Roast coffee to compete with another coffee shop... you can guess which one!

Going on a road trip means you get to stick your head out the window... wheeeeee!!!!

 Are we there yet???

 We must be getting close... the roads are getting narrower and more rural...

We are here!!! Now we have a hike...

It is a very nice trail through some old forest with large ferns...

Hmmm... I didn't know this was a prehistoric forest!! There are dinosaurs here!

 Eating pine-cones of all things.... You never know what you will see in the woods.

Ta-dah... we are down by the ocean!! That is so beary cool...

There is a guy down there fishing... probably for salmon. I wanted to go down and see if he would share any with me but... Mama says fisherman get a little skittish when they see bears.

We are going to a beary special place... When the tide switches from high to low, there is a narrow channel here where the tidal flow is beary strong.

That little boat was going against the flow and barely made headway through part of the channel. I tried to take a video but my camera-person was clumsy and pushed the "Record" button twice which meant... there was a one second recording! Phooie...

On the other side is a little island... that bench looks beary comfy.

 I saw another boat coming in the distance... it was going to go with the flow... so probably wouldn't have much trouble.
