The basil is growing happily...
The fuchsia is putting forth more blossoms... but...
In my former city... over the mountains in flat-land... they do not have balmy skies...
In fact, it's quite a mess!!
And the inhabitants are beary, beary upset!!

I am glad I live where I do. I don't think even a little bear could handle snow in September... but now you also know why I wore my winter outfit there all the time. You never know when you'll get snow!
Summer snow?!? NO!!!
ReplyDeleteI hope that summer snow doesn't go down your way. I know how Jerry can get around snow....
DeleteCan you imagine?? Snow in Jerry's garden??? I'm sure he's keeping an eye on those weather reports! But maybe it's a case of "Only in Canada, you say?"
Delete28 degrees last night in Northern Minnesota, brrr, luckily it's not that cold where we live. Jerry is really not happy.
DeleteNo, I wouldn't think that Jerry would be happy! It's still summer!!
DeleteYep... but apparently it will be 20 C (errr.... 70F) on the weekend again...
ReplyDeleteI finally understand why you always wore your green coat in all of your old posts. I always thought it was because that's the only outfit you had....how silly of me.
ReplyDeleteErr... well... actually... that might have been part of it too! Mama always told me it could snow "any day" (even in June or July) so she always made sure I had my hat and snow pants on... but now I think it was because she had no other clothes for me to wear...
DeleteI'm sooooo not ready for that four letter "S" word!!!! I thought about you when I saw the grumpy Snowmen on our news yesterday. We will have temps in the 40's here on Friday thanks to that same system. Brrrrrr! I have a feeling this Winter is going to show up early and stay late.
ReplyDeleteWe thought about you when we saw the Grumpy Snowmen picture on our news yesterday. Brrrrr, I am so not ready for that four letter "S" word. We are going to have temps in the 40's on Friday from the same system. Grrrrr!
ReplyDeleteBrrr... better dig out your sweaters and fluffy coats! It's hard to believe the summer is almost over... why does time go so fast in the summer?
DeleteI don't think your chickens or Poes would like it either!
