Anyhow... I have been thinking about my upcoming trip to London. Beanie Mouse is going to travel up and meet me there. Those of you who know Beanie, know that he is a beary high-brow artistic mouse. I am sure that he will take me to places like...
The Guildhall Gallery (it looks like a quiet place)
And perhaps the National Gallery (another reflective place)
The Tate Modern might be on our list of stops
(is that one of the monsters from the move Alien???)
(is that one of the monsters from the move Alien???)
....
Wait a minute... that thing looks a lot like a sculpture in front of the National Gallery of Canada!!!!
Hmmmm.... It looks like it would eat little bears...
Then there is always the Royal Victoria & Albert Museum
(pottery is also beary quiet)
Now... I have to say... Beanie has told me that we are going to a place that has all sort of historical artifacts, which is right up Indiana Sandy's alley. Some pottery... some metalwork... from the Middle Ages right through til Today.
It sounds beary interesting.... I hope we won't have to be quiet in that museum though... will we Beanie???
Well I wasn't planning a quiet museum unless we stopped at the Tate Modern for lunch. I'm working on some surprises though....!!
ReplyDeleteSurprises!!?? oooh... love surprises!
ReplyDeleteMaybe you two are going ti the national portrait museum ti have a picture of you two commissioned?
DeleteThat would be HUGE surprise! Do they do little bears & mice? Wonder if they have one of Winnie the Pooh?
DeleteYeah. If the weather is in our favour, we'll be artefact-ing, lunch at the Tate, a Magical Mystery Bus Ride with some history thrown in and then some cakes.
ReplyDeleteCan we go to Platform 9 3/4 too??? And maybe Diagon Alley? Don't forget chocolate...
DeleteWe loved Paddington Station (for obvious bear reasons) and the Sherlock Holmes museum (perfect for Sherlock Sandy). We'll be following your trip!
ReplyDeleteI am with Jerry and Ben about Paddington Station. By the way when is the movie being released?
DeleteOooh... Sherlock Museum!!! That sounds interesting... is that up on Baker Street?? .... It is... oh that would be cool. Maybe they sell pipes for little bears??
ReplyDeleteSaw you had a stop in Hamsterdam if you could tell me when I could try to persuade G. to go there(if it is on a day that she doesn't have to go to school).
ReplyDeleteI'll send you an email!
Deletehow beary exciting!
