A Plane Trip... or Two...

 Shhh... be quiet!!! We might not be there yet... 

Well... stop stepping on my face!!!

Well, something's in my face!

Oooh... finally... a bit of light... do you think we're through the x-ray machine yet? BTW... see... not stepping on your face!

Nope... it's not you... it's this zucchini that's in my face!

Wait, what? There's a zucchini in here with us??

Well... so there is... and a big zucchini by the looks of it! Oooh... I think the backpack is opening... Ready???

Surprise!!! We don't care where you're going but we are coming!!! So there...

We heard there was a plane trip coming up (first one in almost 2 years!) and we are coming... period. Soooo... where are we going? London? Calgary? Winnipeg?

That's our plane over there... hmmm... looks kind of small... just a prop plane...

Vancouver? We're flying to Vancouver??? Why aren't we taking the ferry??? Patience??? No... we don't have patience!!!

Alright... going to Vancouver... and flying over the islands at 5000 feet...

We'll both be royally miffed if we went through the whole zucchini thing just to go to Vancouver!! 

And who is the monster zucchini for, anyhow? Hmmm.... Oh... Rose's mom wants a monster zuchhini to make zucchini loaf. OK...

Coming in for a landing in Vancouver... If we have a zucchini for Rose's Mom, then I guess we're not getting a connecting flight. Sigh... all that excitement for... Vancouver!

Sooo... here we are at Rose's place... that's Luna...

And that's Phoenix... they have the most excellent catio in history...  with the old greenhouse converted into a catio extension!

Oh, and that's Olaf... He's a neighbour's cat but he lives in an apartment and likes to hang out here. He's a Maine Coon and beary independent... and big... and handsome...

Oh, and here are some of the painted rocks that Rose and her Mom did while visiting Gramma... cool...

*** The Next Day***

We are so beary confused. We are back at the airport again. Are we going back home now?? Are we just serving as zucchini couriers????

It's another prop plane sooo... sigh... definitely not London...

***several hours later***

Hah!!! We've arrived!! And it's not back home!!!

Nope... can you guess??? Well, some of you have already guessed but...

We are super excited...

Super-duper excited!

We are visiting Gramma!!!! She grew our her hair during Covid... we all know about Covid hair...

And yes, Gramma's already baking for us... this is going to be an apple crumble.

It's all ready to go in the oven... can you smell it yet? Apple, cinnamon... yum!

And this is dinner... goulash...

With Knödel (potato dumplings)... they come pre-done in little mesh bags now. Way easier!

Yummers!!!

And Gramma painted these little ladybug rocks... although we read an article recently which says that technically, they should be called ladybeetles... 

They're cute!

We brought Gramma some dotting tools and more paintbrushes...

This one was done with dotting tools when Rose and her Mom were here.

Alright... let's eat!

These tomatoes and cukes are from Gramma's garden. Her tomatoes did really well this year!

And yes, there's apple crumble for dessert!
