Bearlin is a beary big city and as the name suggests is full of bears! In fact, it's symbol is a bear! Suffice to say, Sandy had a great deal of fun taking pictures of bears...
That is the official pose of the Berliner Bear.
And then there are others...
These two pictures show a less fierce variety! With crowns no less.
And this is a simple Steiff Bear...
Then you can get a bear instead of a rubber duckie... so that would be a rubber-bearrie??
There are statues of bears everywhere. This one is hard to recognize because it's covered in pictures of people.
This bear is a golden colour - sort of honey-coloured actually!
And is helping to pull a chariot with possibly the Honey Goddess! Notice how the Honey Goddess has its arms raised up... there are lots and lots of statues like that...
This one is yellow with funny paintings on it.
Of course Sandy had to get into the picture as well!
These bears come in a variety of flavours...
You can even get them in miniature if you want...
These bears are beary strong!!! But then they have to be...
Because they obviously serve as waiters during Oktoberfest (or something)...
This bear doesn't look very bear-ish... in fact, it looks a bit like Miss Piggy.... hmmm...
Sandy also found some other piggies... so he's including the pictures just for Sullivan!
And that is just a small sampling of the bears in Bearlin... Sandy could go hog-wild but he's had a whole blog post to himself on this topic... and now that's enough!
So many bears! We have to go and see this beary fun city.
ReplyDeleteI'm surprised you beary well-traveled bears haven't been here yet! Just don't come in August - it is beary bear hot. I took a picture of sweat running down Mama's cheek and all she was doing was sitting on the bus... but Mama won't let me publish that one...
ReplyDeleteLove the rubber bearrie!
ReplyDelete@Hammie - I'd love to see a pic of that bear!
ReplyDelete@Buttons - yes... I was tempted to buy one, but since I don't do baths, figured it wasn't very useful for me!
