Hullo!!
Today we received some mail from
Beanie Mouse & Co... and I say "we" because...
It was addressed to moi, Sherlock Sandy, as well as Dr. Cocoa Watson and Inspector Navy Lestrade!
Thank goodness!!!
See guys!!! It's OK... the Beanie cousins have NOT forgotten about you!
Welllllll... I guess...
Cocoa Watson reporting for duty!!! Along with Inspector Navy Lestrade!
Alright team, let's get to work... ummm... how do we get into this thing???
Grunt... mutter... rip... tear... slice... mutter... squeak...
We may be a Mystery Solving Trio but...
... letter opening is NOT our strong suit!
Even with the sharpest letter-opener!
... but we got it done!
Hmmm... is this a message to a mouse? or a bear? or a human?
Oooh!!! It's a prize for the last
Mystery of the Missing Bullion!
See... it's St. Paul's Cathedral with searchlight beams...
And now we have...
A new clue!!!
A circular commemorative coin for a global war (that's like a £2 coin... for WW1 or WW2?)
Showing uniformed military fighting corp
Shows men in peaked hats (not worn in combat)
Who had all worked completely onshore (no RAF or RN or RNVR or Marines then)...
Who is shown on the coin?
Well it would seem that it's showing army soldiers in their fancy hats... let's do some digging...
We think we found it!
This one!! A £2 coin... from WW1 with soldiers in their peaked caps!
