Right then... it's not all fun-and-games when we come to Vancouver you know. Today we were helping Rose's mom with a few things around the yard. First up was pruning some overgrown bushes... but rather than loppers or a pruning saw we had... this...
OMG... it's a baby chainsaw!!! A real Stihl (oh that rhymed)...
I am going to supervise from a distance again since sharp things and little bears do not go together. But... suffice to say... Mama now wants a baby chainsaw too!
Next up... we are going to use this pressure washer...
Hmmm... pressurized water... this little bear will, again, be supervising from a distance!
We are pressure-washing this area rug!
It's a tough job... but somebody's gotta do it. It actually turned out a lot better and much cleaner than when we started!!
While the humans were waiting for the rug to dry (kind of like watching the kettle boil)... I explored behind the shed, now that one can actually explore back there!
This whole area was a big tangle of dead mock orange branches but now...
We can get back there and... seee... there is a big hole gnawed in the back of the shed!!! Probably racoons judging by the size of it.
And a big hole dug under it too!
Which reminds me... where the heck are the mice??? Where are Cocoa Beanie and Navy Beanie??? Are they in hiding???
I went to ask Lexy but...
She just turned her head at me and looked uber cute.
And... yes... if you don't pay attention, Lexy does tend to think I am a new toy for her!
Note to self... do NOT fall asleep on the couch here!!!
But back to the question at hand... where are the mice????
That's a thought..... where ARE the mice?????!! We're worried now.
ReplyDeleteMice are seriously mischievous you know...
DeleteIs there a cheese factory bear Rose's? Perhaps the mice are there???
ReplyDeleteNow that's a good idea! Hmmmm... we have more cheese factories here on the Island though.
DeleteCan we hire you?
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely. I'm not sure the baby chainsaw will make it through customs though...
