I got some mail the other week... it's from England!! Which means it's likely from Beanie Mouse...
A circular coin of double metallic
The highest denomination of UK numesmatic
A playwright connected to a spherical theatre
He's considered superior by literary arbiter
Name the coin... and playwirght?!
Well... let's see... so the coin is likely silver and gold (not real silver and gold)... and possibly a £1 or £2 coin (I've never seen one of those!)... the theatre... hmmm... likely The Globe in London and... it must be William Shakespeare! Let's see if I am right...
Ah hah!!! Observe... there are 3 Shakespeare £2 coins minted in 2016... one with a court jester hat, one with Yorick's skull (from Hamlet) and one with a sword through a crown. Cool!!!
Hurray!!!!! You got the right coin and the right playwright!!! The second clue shall be mailed to you soon from Moriarty Mouse!
ReplyDeleteOh - and I think we used a wallpaper sample for the card, with a linoprint on top..... I think. Or it might've been a piece of funky paper for giftwrap.....
DeleteAh-hah!!! wall paper- that makes sense... it's a beary cool card... looking forward to the next clue!
DeleteI got the playwright but didn't know anything about the coin. Nice job Moriarty Beanie and Sherlock Sandy
ReplyDeleteWe make a good team... go figure!
DeleteDid you ever figure out a good way of displaying your bullion? Or is it all going in your Piratey Treasure Chest?
ReplyDeleteRight now, it's all going in the piratey tankard (no treasure chest)...
