West Coast Spirit Cat

Well... have you heard of the West Coast Spirit Bear? Those are the Kermode bears from up the coast. They are white/cream coloured Black Bears... not albino... but light-furred. They are called Spirit Bears. Down here... for the last year or so... our neighbour has been... a Spirit Cat!! Wait for it...

Here he comes!!! Tail in the hair (happy kitty) and chirping madly...

Isn't he cute? His name is Felix...

Felix is an absolute snuggle cat... He moved in last year, a few days after we had to put Rascal down... which meant he got a LOT of cuddles from Mama.

Felix loves to be held and purrs madly... I'm too small to hold him though...

He has a harness and a GPS tracker because... he is a bit of a social butterfly and can easily convince unsuspecting neighbours that he is lost and needs a home... or at least food!

His mom also has a tag on his harness that reads... "Felix. Do NOT feed me"...

Soooo sweet... and he drools too... when you cuddle him.

Like that... He also poops in the front flower bed but... we'll trade poop for cuddles any day!

He also loved to go and visit Grampa. He'd stand in front of Grampa's door and convince the home care workers that he needed to be let in...

Who could ignore such beautiful baby blue eyes... (Yes, you're right, this is a love-post to Felix!)

But... a few weeks ago... Felix's mom moved away and took Felix with her. We are all heart-broken...
