After escaping from the black monster, little bear takes a walk in this new place and discovers flowers. This is a little bear who was born in winter, grew up in winter... and is now in spring. He hasn't seen a lot of outside colours... and now he is stunned.
Here, little bear meets the iconic symbol of spring, a beautiful daffodil... Little bear is going to have to grow his vocabulary very quickly to keep up with everything he's going to see...
Next up are the tulips... another symbol of spring... and little bear is mesmerized by the deep shade of red. He's getting a glassy, dazed look in his eyes... almost hypnotized by those tulips! After waking from his trance, little bear scampers down a forest path and meets the most impressive flower so far...
It's so yellow... and so big... and so yellow! Wow!! This is truly an impressive flower and little bear wonders why it isn't growing in people's gardens. He learns that they only grow in swamps or wet areas (which aren't the conditions in most people's gardens)... and that one of its names is Swamp Lantern. Little bear doesn't care... he just thinks it would look totally awesome in a vase! These ones are one-bear tall... but just a bit farther away...
Are some flowers that are two-bears tall! Little bear wants to cut some off and take them home. In the process of getting closer to the flowers, he steps on one of the leaves and all of a sudden it gets really stinky out in the woods! Ewwww!!!! Little bear learns that the other name for this beautiful flower is... Skunk Cabbage... Ewww... little bear turns tail and heads home as fast as his little legs will take him... Nice to look at but don't touch those flowers... Ewww!
