In a Jam

Little bear went down to the river today and was stymied by a huge log jam... like huge! It was a like a giant pile of pick-up sticks, all tangled and twisted. Little bear scrambled around for a while, up and over and up and over, until he reached the top of the pile and then realized... it went on for a very long way!

There was no way little bear was going to be making any progress this way... in fact... he could spend a very long time going up and over and up and over and go nowhere quickly!

So what is a little bear to do?? Well, sit back, put on his thinking cap (different than his toque) and let the answer come to him... It might take a while, but there has to be a solution to this...
