Creating the 2026 Halloween Costume

 Hullo!!! We are working on my Halloween costume...

It requires head gear... and so we are going to repurpose my baseball helmet... but first it needs a good solid coating of green painter's tape...

There... that should do it!!!

Then we made a pattern...

Look who's here to help!!! She's working on the helmet bit...

Meanwhile... I am repurposing a reflective vest...

And yes, that is Gramma's seam picker-aparter!

Then we needed to cut out the bits we needed... and it's hard to cut straight lines, so we needed Rose's help to hold things in place!

There we go... and we repurposed the reflective stripey bits too...

Can you guess yet, what it might be?

There's the other bits...

It's beary finicky work with lots of sticky bits!

Let's check on Rose and the helmet bits...

She's working hard!

Well... we are all working hard!!!

She has to cut out some foam strips...

And that's all I'm going to show you!!!! You'll have to wait till next week to see the reveal... and I can almost guarantee you will never guess what my costume is for!!!
