Snooping at Gramma's

We went on a little snoop around Gramma's place. Jerry was beary impressed with these peonies Gramma had in a vase...

"Peonies are beary tricky to grow... they can have snit fits, but these look beary nice"

"Except... wait... just... a... minute..."

 "What the... these are fake flowers!!"

 "Gramma has fake flowers??? Whaaaatttt???"

Uh-oh...

"This rose is fake too!"

 "Ack!!! Fake flowers!!"

"And these are dried roses..."

"OK, that's not too bad..."

"... sigh... a fake hydrangea..."

"I asked Gramma why the fake flowers and she says - cause they don't make a mess and they look good all the time, even in dark hallways - OK, well, that makes sense."

"Although, she does have some real plants - like this succulent which is blooming"

"And a ficus tree in a teensy tiny pot - they apparently do well in tiny pots - go figure."

"And a baby palm tree..."

Ooh, this is pretty... two real vines and some fake flowers... looks pretty though."

Even prettier with some bears in the pic!

We then had a peek in her storage room...

It's where the hot water tank is, so it's warm and dry in here... and Gramma is drying out her onions...

They are Kelsey onions and they are massive!!

And drying some beans for seeds.

 I like the juxtaposition of tools and onions!

We even found some honey on Gramma's counter but it's almost empty (ACK!!!)...

"Oh... and she has some fresh geranium cuttings... nice"

"I complimented Gramma on her flowers and asked about the honey situation... she said she had something to show me..."

"Whoa... where are we going?"

"Gramma is moving fast!"

"Into her pantry closet..."

"She says there is a hidden surprise behind this bucket..."

"What!!!"

"This is a massive container of honey!!!"

"Thank you Gramma!!!"

"I'll just put it back there..."

"And report back to Sandy and Ben..."

"I see a midnight pantry raid in our future..."
