A Special Guest or Two... or More...

A few days... weeks... ago. We went down to the ferry terminal to pick up a beary special guest. Can you guess who it might be???

It's Otto!!!!

And Rose!!!

And... wow... a few of Otto's friends... ummm... wow. There's monkey... and Sherwood the bear and Slippery the seal and Luke the black dog and Stripey the cat and Pomegranate the rat. Goodness!

I promise there won't be a quiz at the end where you'll have to remember all their names...

Stripey wants to know if he can go hang out with Spooky... well... of course.

Luke then wanted to go hangout with the neighbours dogs at the back fence... oohkay....

Slippery heard that there was some great ocean swimming down in the harbour and fish!

Sherwood is keen to do research on the bees in our backyard...

I know another bear who might join Sherwood!

Ummm... what is it with humans and photo-bombing???

Monkey is the quiet type... not much to say... although he did murmur something about hearing that there are banana trees growing in the city.

Goodness... looks like we are running a bed and breakfast for visiting stuffies with their projects! Except for Otto, Pomegranate and I... we are off on another adventure!

Yes we are... we are now at Buckley Bay... waiting to catch a ferry to Denman Island... cool!

I think that's Denman over there... it's not a long ferry ride.

Photobombed again! Do you see the pink on the end of Rose's hair? Well... they used a hair colour that needs several rinses so that all the excess comes out...

And I guess they didn't rinse enough... There is going to be pink stuff everywhere! On Rose's neck... on the towels... even in the ocean!

As long as she stays away from us though... we are good... this otter and bear do NOT need to get dyed pink!

And we're on the ferry! Whoo-hoo! It's a new type of ferry, a cable ferry. There's an underwater cable that it gets pulled along. Neat.

Careful... watch that pink hair!

When we got to Denman, we drove like mad for the next ferry... the one to Hornby Island. We just squeaked on that one... all those poor people behind us had to wait... heh-heh!

Bye-bye Denman... what great weather we're having. Can't wait to see what adventures will come.
