Oh hello! Yes, I have been beary busy of late... a little bear's work is never done it seems. We have had a tonne of visitors this summer - some human some stuffy and it takes a lot to coordinate all that. Last week... we had some beary special guests from out East (in our world... pretty much everywhere else in Canada is "out East"... hehheh). Anyhow... we decided to go camping! This is a good site...
Where we set up a couple of tents...
In addition to the VW camper van...
We had two young guests and... well... you did need a lot of stuff to keep two young humans occupied!
But we did get it more-or-less organized...
Enough to send the two humans down to the freezing cold river... That's Kara up to her stomach and Matthew deciding whether or not he's going to get more than his ankles wet! They are Mama's niece and nephew in-laws... from way out East (but not all the way).
As Senior (and Only) Bear in Charge - I made sure that everyone was fed and watered and had a place to sleep...
But that takes a lot of energy out of a little bear... whew...
I'm going to bed!
See you guys later... keep it down to a dull roar please!
What a fun trip. I am impressed that you got everything in one car, albeit a van but still that's impressive.
ReplyDeleteIs that a sink I see in the van?
errr... well... we did bring another vehicle for going out and about with the kids. We didn't want to pack up the VW every morning! So the other vehicle held all the inflatable pool toys, and flippers and masks and their suitcase and various other odds and sods. When did camping get so complicated??
DeleteYes, young 'uns are very tiring. Get plenty of rest!
ReplyDeleteI remember when I was a young 'un... those were the days!
DeleteThat is certainly one way to describe it! It kept us all quite active...
ReplyDeleteA fun day!
