At last the snow has stopped!! And the sun came out...
So nice... now the snow is melting and everything is a sloppy mess out there...
But that's OK, because the kitchen reno still needs work. I am supervising the last bit of flooring that needs to be put down.
Just one more piece!!!
Yay!!! I am done!!
Hmmm... now we just need some baseboards and the stove and fridge to come back to their rightful places. I is a beary tired little bear... need honey... or hot chocolate... or something!
The kitchen is looking good Sandy! Very luck to have you in charge!! We're not sure much of anything would get done around here if we didn't keep an out of on our seKretary!
ReplyDeleteThanks guys! Oh sekrebearies can be coaxed into doing things too... it takes a lot of stuffie patience though.
DeleteHey great job on the floor there Sandy. Looks like you are doing a great job as a general contractor bear, looks like the kitchen reno is moving right along. Tell your moma she made a great choice of tile color beary attractive.
ReplyDeleteMy mom is getting the reno/re-deco bug too, she spent the day watching HGTV on the conputer today. Then she pulled out her paint chip book.
Thanks Buttons! We are almost done - just a piece of quarter-rounded under the patio doors and... that will be it! Then I will see if I can get some pictures taken. I picked out the floor tiles because they are called "chocolate"!! Hah-hah!!
DeleteOh... HGTV shows are beary bad for humans... they get bit by the reno-bug and start planning all sorts of things! We watch an awful lot of that channel here...
Yes, we sure agree with that. And come to think of it, where is the HGTV Stuffie show, with the Stuffies keeping the humans working and checking to make sure that everything is done right?
DeleteGood point!! I think they are behind the scenes, doing all the directing! The humans are just the "front people"... heh-heh... the real brains are the "behind stuffies"!
DeleteSandy, your new floor looks great. Did you Sekrebeary get you a hard hat and a clipboard for when you were supervising the construction? I think you should celebrate being close to being done by taking a hike.
ReplyDeleteThanks Little Fox! Actually... nobody had hardhats on although safety glasses did make an occasional appearance during mitre-saw time. I tried to supervise from a good distance and just had a little note paper where I kept tabs on things. I think I need a hike too! There are rumours of an "outing" coming... so I will keep my paw pads crossed!
DeleteWow, the first photo looks like a painting! Great job on the kitchen supervising.
ReplyDeleteThanks Adjin! It was a spektackular sunrise!
DeleteThanks Hammie! I still have to put a few baseboard edges on and take pictures... soon!
