Mama had us go through the drive-through... probably a good idea... Can you imagine three little bears turned loose in a Timmie's? "Let's see," mused Jerry, "I'll have a dozen honey dip donuts and a maple dip, just to try it. And maybe a sprinkle donut for the flight home..."
"Hey!" protested Ben, "I want something too... move over... "I'll have a dozen honey dip donuts as well and maybe a Boston Creme and...."
Ooohhh... getting closer...
Eh? One tiny bag???
What? ONE honey dip donut???
"This is a joke, right?" "Where are the rest???" "We're hungry!" "What do you mean, 'budget cuts'??" "How can three of us eat one donut???"
Uh... right... three pieces... oh so satisfying.
OK... but are they all equal sizes?? "Me thinks, my piece is smaller," grumbled Jerry.
Bear conference... should we weigh the pieces?
"Maybe we could have a strike, and demand at least 2 more donuts?"
I don't know... "Hey!!!" squeaked Jerry... "there's a piece missing!!!"
Yup... there's a piece missing... and since we both saw Jerry's paws the entire time...
We now know the true culprit behind the disappearing treats!!
But that doesn't help us with the two remaining pieces... And if we dither too long... Mama might steal another piece. But... that's OK... I can always get more Timmies here... so I let Jerry and Ben have their pieces!
Cause... when we got home... it was time to say goodbye...
It was so great having Jerry & Ben here!! "Thanks for having us, Sandy! We had a wonderful time... even if the weather was too rainy for camping... and Winterpeg was too cold to see much..."
Group bear hug. Bye guys!!!
What a great trip...so many memories made!
ReplyDeleteBTW, is Ben a bearfoot bear?...
Good question Droopy, Ben where are your shoes?
DeleteBen likes to be bare-pawed in the summer--the cool grass feels so nice. Jerry works more in the garden, so he prefers to wear shoes to keep his paws clean.
DeleteMake sure you buckle up!
ReplyDeleteDid the cashier see you at the pick-up window?
Have a safe trip Jerry and Ben!
Buckle up?? Oops!! The cashier didn't see us cause Mama came to a jerky stop and we all tumbled around out of sight!
DeletePapa: Thanks for hosting Jerry and Ben! They got to do so many fun things and see where Sandy lives. Now, to start a stuffy petition to get a Tim Horton's in our town!
ReplyDeleteIt was great fun to have them!
DeleteWhat, no hot chocolate with your donuts? Be sure to buckle up you three
ReplyDeleteNo, no... Timmies hot chocolate tastes "meh"... beary sugary syrup. Blech!

ReplyDeleteDoes Timmy H. deliver to the States via the geese?
ReplyDeleteUh... not that I'm aware of. The Canada Geese have been threatening strike action/lockout for the last week so not sure they are reliable at the moment. Sigh...
