This is some frozen rhubarb...
and some chopped strawberries...
We've got the pectin...
And some sugar...
Fast-forward... so... we found a tonne of blackberries and even some early apples.
Most of the blackberries are getting quick-frozen and tossed in the freezer.
But we have plans for some of the other ones...
Some liqueur is now percolating away.
And we also made some blackberry jam...
Eight jars of blackberry jam... mmm....
And six jars of strawberry/rhubarb jam...
Plus... 25 jars of wild plum jam!!! I should set up a little stand at the end of the driveway and sell some of this!
Wow! You've been a busy little bear. I do think you should open up a farmstand and sell your wares...at a discount to stuffies, of course. :)

DeleteBen is beary jealous that you made so much delicious jam! We didn't have many razzBEARies this year. Jerry thought that this post title meant that you were sitting in a big bowl of strawberry jam (mind you, Jerry thinks that is a gosh darn wonderful idea!).
ReplyDeleteNo Razzbearies? That's horrible. Ours got a bit too thirsty and shriveled up after a while. Hopefully they do better next year. Hmm... sitting in a bowl of jam... I'd want an english muffin in there too... and a wetsuit so I wouldn't get my fur all pink!
