The first card is to Bob T. Bear - I got an email that said his grampa had passed away. They have not been having a good year!
In amongst all the writing, which is beary hard work... I thought I would try one of the Bacon Gumballs that Jerry & Ben sent up...
Don't they look pretty! They are Hammie Red...
And... well... ***chew chew chew***... they sort of taste like bacon for the first 2 minutes... sort of....
Back to writing... I sent off a few Beanie cards to various peoples and stuffies... and a card to Hammie as well. They found the little rooster dead in the chicken coop a few days ago. Beary sad!!!
Those gumballs sound a bit weird!!! But that was a Very Good Card for Bob T Bear and his family..... they'll love that one!
ReplyDeleteThey were certainly different! Very Harry Potterish... I thought that was a good card from Bob and his family as well... only thing was... no Dilly!
DeleteI ordered some holiday cards this year from the internet. I hope they come soon. Have you seen the 2014 Bearista?
ReplyDeleteI did that one year! It was fun. Didn't have the oomph for it this year. Apparently there are NO 2014 bearistas this year!!! None in England, none here, and none where Jerry & Ben congregate. There appear to be some in Korea but... I have emailed Starbucks and gotten the run-around about future bearista plans. Hmph!
DeleteSome people say that anything is good with bacon on it. I'm not so sure about that personally. I have heard of bacon ice cream, bacon perfume, bacon... just wait until I create some salmon ice cream, salmon perfume... now that would really be just terrific.
ReplyDeleteMmmm... smoke salmon flavours would be good too!!
DeleteIt's difficult to keep up with the mail during the winter...we seem to be beary much more sleepy. Are all little bears more sleepy in the winter? We send out card off to Bob. T and Dilly too.
ReplyDeleteI think all little bears are more sleepy in the winter - lack of sunshine I think!
DeleteI thought it was hibernation....????
ReplyDeleteNo... it's Hibearnation! Hahahah!!! ... Hmmm... I thought mice do the same thing in the winter?
DeleteJerry says lack of enough honey and chocolate; Ben plans to stock up! We received a package from you today! We'll blog about it at Christmas time. Jerry and Ben would like to open the goodies today, but Papa says they have to wait until Christmas. It's tough being patient when you're little bears.
ReplyDeleteYou got the parcel ALREADY???? Mama says she just mailed it on Monday... holy mackerel! Good thing your Papa has a firm policy on opening Christmas presents at Christmas time! "Patient little bears" is an oxymoron... no such thing exists!
ReplyDeleteWe did! Those Canadian delivery geese must have REALLY wanted to get to the south to start enjoying hot tubs and margaritas!
DeleteThat would explain it! They are quicker heading south because it's warmer... less quick heading north where it is colder!!
DeleteLooks like the package sorting center in Vancouver got their act together. I got your parcel yesterday.
ReplyDeleteWell that's nice to know!
