Yay!!! We are off to Vancouver for a visit, and this time I get to come along! I guess I stomped my feet enough last time, when I got left on the island...
Here we are on the ferry... it was beary wet out. When we got to Vancouver, we had a bus ride and a skytrain ride and another bus ride. I was snuggled in Mama's backpack the whole way because it was pouring buckets.
When I finally did get out... well... yes, it was wet out! Puddles everywhere and soggy leaves from the fall. Ick!!
But there were some cool sewer covers - this one is kind of ugly - CVWD means City of Vancouver Water... something or other... maybe!
This one is super cool!!! It looks kind of like raindrops...
And this one has a swirlydesign on it - which is kind of neat.
And look what else we found!!! Yup... those are little shoots coming out of the ground! Can you imagine??? It's January!!!
Have a wonderful time Sandy! Make sure your Mom doesn't leave you in Vancouver!
ReplyDeleteOh, don't worry... I am sticking close to her! There are even 1/2 price little bear outfits on sale in the coffee shop... maybe I'll twist her arm into buying me a new outfit!
ReplyDeleteOooh! New outfits! Yeah!
ReplyDeleteOooh, Beanie wil love those drain covers!
ReplyDeleteYou found some drain covers!!!! That spotty one is my favourite!!
ReplyDeleteSounds like someone is becoming a clothes bear, like me. I hope you get a nice new outfit, bargain shopping is the best!

ReplyDelete@ Buttons - I am turning into a regular fashionista bear! Except Mama complains that it takes forever to get me dressed and ready to go because I can't decide which outfit to wear! So much easier when I had only one outfit!
@Beanie - I'm always on the lookout for interesting drain covers!
Can't decide what outfit to wear Sandy? Do what we do, wear several at the same time! hehe
ReplyDelete@Jerry & Ben - well, I am trying to mix and match a bit, but Mama just shakes her head and rolls her eyes! She didn't like my red jacket and blue shorts with flip-flops outfit... no idea why not!
ReplyDeleteNope... can't imagine that at all..... we live in Calgary..... and it is snowing again...although, today the temperature went from -9C to +1 by suppertime...with no breeze; so not even a chinook...very strange indeed....
ReplyDeleteI used to live in Calgary!! It could get super cold there and then super warm... strange weather indeed!
