Hullo!! I got mail today!! From Little Fox & Buttons!
This is from Buttons... that's him and Scruffy going sledding. And there is something in a baggie...
It's a tea-light cover!! For battery operated tea-lights of course otherwise you'd just have a snowman barbeque!
Ooooohhhh!!! Isn't that cute??? Somebody's beary talented!
Thanks Buttons! And Scruffy of course!
And then there was this awesome card from Little Fox... It looks like he got to go on a super-exciting hike somewhere in the mountains... And do you see the snow!! We don't have snow... just rain.... That's where Sebastian is right now, nose plastered to the window watching the rain fall...
Anyhow... Oh.... this old thing?? Well, yes, it is a new sweater... sort of! Doesn't it fit me perfectly?? And it is beary festive as well... I'll show you where I got it in another post!
How many adventures can a Bearista Bear have in a year or two? Quite a few it turns out!

An Outfit for Sebastian
Hullo... we rummaged through my clothes, looking for an outfit for Sebastian... he can't beary well run around Canada bare-pawed and dressed in nothing but pants, shirt and apron! Well... he found the custom-made Vietnamese clothes... and insisted that we try them on... sigh... so here goes nothing!
Thar we be... yes... well... they are a bit big (long story which involves unremovable flipflops)... I call this my Skater-dude look... what do you think? I was going more for a casual Cowboy look... sigh... Sebastian kind of liked it but I told him he stilled needed boots and a warmer top. So after some more digging... we came up with...
...this!! No comments on the purple boots please! Sebastian fell in love with the scarf which reminds him of all the pretty colours back in Malaysia...
Doesn't he look fetching?? That will definitely keep him warm... (along with the spare red coat from Jerry & Ben!)... I keep asking Mama to get me a super-dapper outfit like Ben wears when he does his cooking.... but Mama says I am too rambunctious and get too dirty... Phooie!
Sebastian said "I'm ready!! Let's go play in the snow!"... except now it's raining!

Merry Christmas!
A Beary Merry Christmas to One & All (Bears & Not-a-Bears alike)!! Sebastian and I rummaged through my clothes looking for something festive for Sebastian... (Mama got a new camera a couple of weeks ago and is still figuring it out... hence the fuzzy bear bums!)
Ta-dah!! That's me on the left in my Father Christmas outfit and Sebastian found a beary fetching nutcracker outfit...
And we got presents too!! Sebastian was beary impressed with the big snowman on the bag... he wants to know if we can make a snowman sometime...
Snoopy kitty coming to see what we got.... psshhttt!!!
Oh, presents!! One for me and one for Sebastian... and something else...
Slippers! Big fluffy, silly Christmas slippers! Sebastian already has boots on so guess who gets to wear the fuzzy slippers...
Aren't they fetching??? Sebastian was coughing a bit and said he had inhaled a bit of fluff but... you don't think he was laughing at the slippers do you?
And now... presents!
Oh... our beary own emergency Nutella supply! No honey??? Mama says we have enough honey and that little bears need to broaden their dietery horizons... huh?
And then we got to open mail from our pals! Sebastian was beary impressed that my stuffie friends can write letters and stuff...
This first one was from Beanie Mouse - he is so creative!
The next one was from Jerry & Ben... Hmm... Clearly we all shop at the same department store for our clothes!
But there was a second envelope from Jerry & Ben!
With a cute hand-drawn card... awww....
***mumble mumble...***... "scarf"!!??? Huh??
Oh look, there is something in the enveloped!
Oh, it's a Canada Maple Leaf scarf!!! It is awesome guys!! Thanks so much!!! I promise to share it with Sebastian (maybe) if he gets a cold neck...
After we opened our presents, read the mail and posed for fancy pictures we got into some comfy outfits and settled back to enjoy the day...
I pulled out a book called The Mouse Writer... I wonder if Beanie was involved in that? I read the story while Sebastian listened... and eventually we both fell asleep cause we're still jet-lagged!

A surprise!!
Well, after a long sleep (and some more sleep) Sebastian and I got up this morning. I was going to show Sebastian the garden in our back yard but... Mother Nature had a better idea... Snow!!
Mama... PUHLEESE can we go outside and play in the snow!! Sebastian thought it looked all nice and fluffy and would be like cotton...
So after a quick wardrobe addition... we headed out...
It's quite deep! For a little bear of course... Sebastian's comment was "ooooohhhhhh.... snooooowwww!!!"
His second comment.... "It's cold and wet!!!"
Well yes, it looks pretty but... not as light and fluffy as it looks!
Sebastian wanted a picture taken with some real fir branches to Facebook down to his work in Malaysia... and that was it for our adventure outside! Sebastian doesn't have any boots you see... have to work on that!
But Mama went out and about to take some pictures while Sebastian and I warmed up in front of the fireplace...
These are some tree decorations in our front yard...
They were super cute with the snow... looks like they are wearing little hats!
Mama even went for a slushy walk and found an interesting fern frond that only had snow on one side...
The forest looks oh so beautiful in the snow!
I thought we should have got to come along but... little bears don't do well in slush!
The problem was it was just cold enough for it to snow but not cold enough for it to really stick around for all that long.
But Sebastian still liked looking at the photographs. I hope we get more snow later so that he can be better prepared for it!!

Bye-bye Malaysia
This seemed like an awfully short trip compared to the 3.5 months I did earlier.
But this trip was different in other ways too...
I met another little bear!! Sebastian and I spent a lot of time whispering in the front of the car... scheming you might say...
We have a plan...
Back in Kuala Lumpur and look... they have a Christmas tree set up!!
As we got closer to our destination, Sebastian made his pitch to Mama's partner... "Well.... you know... I would really really like to see some snow! I was hoping I could come home with you guys and see a bit of Canada!" Of course Sebastian turned on his considerable little-bear-charm (of which we have a tonne) and Mama's partner caved immediately... Us little bears are pretty irresistible you know.
Wheeee!!! We are at the airport... Sebastian didn't have anything to pack (little bears travel light)... although I did explain about how cold snow can be.... He's not too concerned and I'm glad I have a wardrobe of warm winter outfits!
On the plane... we are flying to Hong Kong...
Sebastian hasn't ever flown anywhere before so this is new for him...
Now we're taxiing to the end of the runway... oh boy...
And up in the air!
Sebastian thinks that we are flying higher than those two big towers in Kuala Lumpur... yup, we are!
And now we're in Hong Kong... but not for long.
I showed Sebastian the route we are going to be flying. He's kind of glad we are going to be relatively close to land in case anything goes wrong with the plane...
And the rest of the trip was a blur! We were so tired that we just crawled into the backpack and fell asleep - made it through passport control fine... Sebastian didn't have a passport but just pretended to be a stuffed animal and we were waved through with no issues... picked up luggage and got spit out into International Arrivals where... Mama was waiting to greet us! Yay!!! But both Sebastian and I were pretty groggy and jet-lagged so mumbled a few greetings and fell asleep again for the long ferry ride home...
