Today Sandy went for a walk on the beach and spied something beary exciting... a huge long log in the water!
Oh... that looks beary tempting!!
Sandy wants to go log walking... but Mama is not so sure this is a good idea!! If Sandy were to get too far along the log and fall in... well... Mama would get beary wet fishing him out of the drink... not to mention Sandy would be drenched and soaked with salt water!
But Sandy is an insistent little bear... The log is stuck between two rocks - it's beary stable and secure... and Sandy is an excellent balancer (most of the time)... oh boy... So off he goes...
And decides after 5 feet that he's gone far enough!! "Quick Mama!! Take a picture!"
But now that he's sitting down... Sandy gets cold feet and can't quite figure out how to stand up again without losing his balance... silly little bear! So Mama had to go and rescue him. Sandy then told Mama that they could both walk to the end of the log but... Mama put her foot down and said "no way José"!!
Sandy, Sandy...your Mama has had enough soakers in her lifetime so doesn't need to add to them now...honestly you two...the trouble you could get into on these little adventures....
ReplyDeleteHeh-heh... at least I didn't go all the way out on the log!! Mama was grumbling something about... "if only we both had caulk boots"!
ReplyDeleteThat looked like a very dangerous adventure Sandy! We're glad your mom was close by!
ReplyDelete@Jerry & Ben - Oh, it wasn't all thaaatttt dangerous... I'm sure Mama would have jumped into the water to rescue me!
ReplyDelete@Hammie - Brave or reckless?? I can't decide which it is! I have to say, I am terrified of moving water - like creeks and rivers! They are beary dangerous to little bears and people!
Hehe, well, with think the green coat also functions as a life vest, at least that what Ben thinks, but he has yet to try it in the bath tub.
ReplyDelete@Jerry & Ben - Does it really??? I've never tried that out... hmmm... who wants to go first??
