Mail Call

I got mail today!! It's from Jerry & Ben - you can always tell because they draw a self-portrait (or two) on the envelope...

It's a Thanksgiving Bear!

Awww... thanks guys!

Oh... my new sweater??? You noticed!!

Yes, Mama found it in amongst all the Christmas stuff (long story)... isn't it fetching? It is a nice deep royal purple colour... I suppose you could call it amethyst. It's beary toasty warm which is good because it is -2C here!! That is just below 32F (for you American friends). Freezing!

  1. What a cool sweater and a great card!!
Do you celebrate Canadian Thanksgiving? It is cold where I live as well, today it was 25 in the morning. I know that is probably not beary cold for Jerry and Ben but it's cold for my part of the country, in fact it is snowing at the beach. Hope my roommates will take me to see the snow on the beach.

  3. Glad you enjoyed the card Sandy. Yes, it's BEARY cold here, -5 with -25 windchill. Papa is very grumpy; we're going to make soup and put lots of candles on, that always helps when it's so cold. The purple sweater is bearutiful!

  4. We do recognize the purple sweater! We think a nice white sweater with a big red maple leaf on it would look beary nice on you! Maybe you could find someone to knit one for you, then we could place some orders too, hehe. We're starting are Christmas baking this weekend, look for a future post from chef Ben (and official taste tester Jerry).

    1. Ah good!! More pics coming of the rest of the outfit... heh heh... So far haven't found any good maple leaf sweaters. Gramma is a knitter but more interested in knitting scarves than sweaters for little bears. Sigh. Can I be a virtual taste tester??

  5. Hehe, we're making a lot, a beary lot of cookies, so we would love a second tester. Jerry tends to eat a few too many, then needs to relax on the sofa because he tummy hurts.
