Relaxing.... ahhhh...

 We are in Mexico!!!! Sooo nice!!!

We relaxed on the loungers...

And there was no bear nattering at us...

Nope... just peace and quiet...

Well... except for Rose!

And we saw herons!!

And spent time watching Rose dive for things in the pool... Otto liked that.

We ate lots and LOTS of chips and salsa with guacamole... like lots!

And watched people doing aquasize... 

But us... we can just lean back and relax!

Mornings on the loungers... afternoons on the bali beds...

And dinners with dessert!!! See that... he's lit brandy on fire and is pouring it back and forth... to pour on the chocolate surprise!

Ooohhhhh...

All the chocolate is melting!!

Oh... there it is... super yummy chocolate moussy goodness!!!! Cocoa was in heaven!

The Mice and the Mexican Vacation

 ***Monday December 13, 2022... early...***

**BRRRRRRRINGGGGGGGG!!!***

OMG!! It's today!!!!

Oh hi!!! Guess where we are??? We are in Vancouver!!! And enroute to Mexico today!!!

Yes, we are staying at Otto's place and... notice anything???

Sandy is NOT here!! No!!!

Heh-heh... he didn't make it back from Oregon in time due to... "flight delays"... heh-heh... but that's what happens sometimes...

Hmm.... I sense a bit of glee from these mice!

Well yes! How many times did Sandy head off on trips this year without a mouse??? Hmmmm???? How many??? A LOT!! But never mind... first... we want to show you...

Otto has a Mouse in the house!!! Well.. .a mouse in a box actually... a matchbox and he wanted to know if it was a Beanie Mouse!

Shhhh... the mouse is sleeping... and this is a Mouse Race box... hmmm... strange

Errr... he's awake now... and...

Race Car Mouse - Are you Beanie Mice????? I'm a Beanie Mouse!!!

***much sobbing and hugging later*** (Mice reunions are messy affairs you know)...

Meet Dwarf Beanie! He's not coming on the trip though... too traumatized by the Mouse Island Tsunami you know... we'll have to come back and spend more time with him after Mexico!

Speaking of which, we should go finish rearranging suitcases...

Whew... how two mice can need this much stuff is amazing.

And this is Rose! She is making turtle bracelets to give away...

And here we are at the airport...We were all supposed to take a mini-van taxi but at 4:30 am they phoned to say they don't have any. Even though Rose's dad booked it days ago!!! So we had to split up and take two taxis!

Anyhow... we went through the zippy fast check-in line-up... cause we are VIP Mice you know...

And now it's time for security... no line-up there!

Like... zero line-up!!

And here we are!! Starbucks isn't even open and...

Sandy is not here!!!

There's our plane!

There is a slight niggling fear that Sandy is going to show up but... we checked his itinerary and he is stuck in Toronto somewhere... heh-heh!!!

Oh... and here's Rose, finishing some homework...

And then... hours and hours later... after a beary full, beary long flight... we fell into bed exhuastipated in Mexico!!! 

Sandy's December Return from Oregon

**Editor's Note - this is Sandy arriving home on Dec 15...**

Hello... yes... it is I, Sandy Bear... this is a long story!!! I went to visit Little Fox in Oregon in late September... and had great fun!!! In late November... I boarded my flight for home. I have a sneaking suspicion that two mice were involved in my itinerary... or paid off the pilots at Canada Goose Airways!!!

You would think... I would fly direct from Oregon to Vancouver Island... a paltry 400 km... easy peasy!!!!

But no!! First... I went on a road trip south (yes... south)... all the way down to LA! I'm not sure what Canada Goose Airways was thinking... maybe the had supply chain issues???? And then... you would think I would fly from LA to Vancouver... but no... it was off to San Francisco for me!! But surely a flight to Vancouver from there??? No!!!

This little bear then caught a flight allllllllll the way across the country to Toronto!!! Seriously... I have had the worst luck with flights this year... And then.. I got stuck in Customs for a week...

And then... sigh... well... let's just say... it took a long while to get to Vancouver!

I'm not sure about Canada Goose Airways anymore... might have to try Eagle Airlines or Seagull Aviation next time!!!

And then... I get home... stagger in the door... and find an empty house!! With this note!!!

Those mice... left without me!!! To Mexico!!!!

They don't know this little bear very well... just give me a minute!

I'm back... and I'm ready... except... it is cold out there...

So let me just... ooff... get dressed...

There we go!!! I am an adventurer!! I am capable!! I can catch the ferry and the plane by myself... hmph!!!!

... leave me behind again... hmph... not on your life... hmph!
