Good morning!!! It's a bit windy today but the skies are blue and the temperature is warm!
Today we are off for a little traipse around the village... just to see what we can see.
Here's the boats! We could got out on a fishing tour but... with those waves, we'd all lose our cookies!
Here we are... we just have to head through this area and we can go shopping and maybe get something for Sandy as a memento... wait... did you hear that?

We got Sandy out of the sun and gave him some water... Otto's good with delivering water...
OK... get these clothes off of me!!!!
There we go! Much better!!! Whew... I'm much recovered now!
"But... but... how did you get here??? Why are you in the village???"

Well... it was quite easy really! I left home...called an Uber to take me to the ferry terminal and then snuck onto the ferry... then another Uber to the airport. And then... I just had to wait for a flight going to Cancun. I snuck through security in some kid's backpack and then snuck into a Cancun flight. The tricky part was getting a ride to Akumal. Apparently the ride I caught dropped me off at Akumal village... not the resort! And it's been sooooo hot but I didn't want to lose my jeans and sweater!

And... we get an awesome king-sized bed!!! Enough for dozens of stuffies!
And a great view from the balcony! Now... still not sure why you guys didn't wait for me... and... wondering if... you know... there were some mice-pawprints on my return trip from Oregon... I've never had such a series of convoluted connnections to come home!!! Who booked that flight, anyhow??

Ahhh... this is the life.
Oh... and we got a towel animal in the room!! Who was able to mediate a bit of a conflict-resolution process between two mice and a little bear. Towel animals are very calm you know.
And... at the end of it... hugs all around!!!!
