Spring is Coming

A few weeks ago... before we had the big dump of Olympic snow, I got to go out for a hike!

 It was pretty warm and sunny and we were on the hunt for pussy willows...

 It sure is nice out but I'm not finding any pussy willow bushes.

Oooh... daffodils are coming up... not blooming yet though.

There's lots of cool hiding spots as well!

I fit!!! Sort of...

There was a cool old gnarly tree here too...

Ooh, furry moss!

No pussy willows. Sigh... maybe it was too early? It's nice to sit in the sun for a while though.

There's some nice lichen hanging off the trees too.

Really thick in spots... but... I guess I am going to have to wait for the weather to warm up a bit for the pussy willows...

      Well... hmmm... there must be a reason... Bees pollinate the flowers that produce the plants that feed the pigs that make the bacon??

    Um, we got more snow and another Bleeeezard.... No spring yet for us.

      Eh? Daffodils are almost done? Ours are just starting... clearly you guys are a few weeks ahead of us.
