Gramma's Garden

We are having a little poke around Gramma's garden today... It's a community garden and we think they need to mow the lawn! People get a raised garden bed and then have access to the communal greenhouse and a plot at the back...

Some people grow cabbages! These look beary good.

This is the greenhouse - it even has automatic vents in the roof if it gets too hot... fancy. Maybe we need a greenhouse like this?

Oooh... big tomatoes... I wonder if Gramma will make bruschetta for us?

Cause they have basil as well!

There were also tomatoes outside and we needed to pick some for Gramma...

This is Gramma's garden plot - it is mostly all done except for some kale. Gramma buries her compost in the bed to help the soil. That is pretty smart!

And someone is growing sunflowers - these are nice!

And there are huge asters as well - we've never seen these before and think they would be great. They are late bloomers which is important for the bees!

Someone also was growing pumpkins... they would be good for Halloween...

(time goes by...)

Oh, hello... we are... oof... at the beach now... helping to gather some driftwood... oof!

Because there's nothing like a campfire on the beach... sooo nice.

Enquiring minds wantt to know if there were smores... and there might have been... but there weren't photos! sigh...

    1. Nope... but the garden is protected by a padlock and a chain link fence... which is nothing to a few marauding stuffie bears.
