Adventures on Hornby Island

And we're here! Rose and Otto have been to Hornby Island many times so they are giving us the grand tour as we drive around. This place has some cool old farm equipment...

And a little shop with a bakery and some yummy food.

That is a feta, tomato pastry... mmm....

But Otto and I both went for the chocolate croissant... how could we not!

There's a nice garden here as well with some beautiful flowers.

And a super cool gate made from driftwood. The fence is to keep the deer out... darn deer!

we all thought this was a really cool structure that would be great for peas or beans... just have to build it.

It would also double as a wonderful play structure for stuffies.

Beautiful flowers... and then... it was time to find our campground.

Of course there's a fire ban in effect but... we now have a propane firepit!!! Soooo nice.

A beautiful sunset as well... I wonder what the next day will bring.

    1. A common affliction that stuffies have to contend with... they think we need to "share" chocolate croissants... imagine!!

    1. I think the purple ones are clematis and the pink ones might be roses... Rose is growing up soooo fast! If you squint at her, you can almost see a 16 year old!!
