Rain Weekend - Part 2

Yes, yes... sekrebearial issues have delayed this posting. Mama was coughing her lungs out with a beary nasty cold and apparently couldn't even post for us. Hmph!! Anyhow... here we go. This was from last weekend...

*****
Hullo!! We had a great movie night. The Peanuts movie was beary nice and we are hoping that we can soon which Zootopia... maybe... Spooky joined us half way through the movie so we thought we'd get a group picture... But now what??? It's still raining sooo....

Sylvester decided he would read one of the library books he requested... On Guerilla Gardening! Cool...

"There are some neat ideas in here," he said, "about odd places one can plant flowers to beautify neighbourhoods."

Jerry found a library book too... Victory Gardens for Bees! Are we surprised??? Nooooo....

Although... it would appear Jerry is more interested in the photographs than the actual text! "I am so reading!" grumbled Jerry, "I'm learning what flowers we can plant to attract more beezzz!!"

And that left me and Ben... what to do??? "Well..., " murmured Ben, "I've always wanted to try smores in the microwave...."
Oooohhhh!! Great idea!!!

"I'll get the graham crackers and the chocolate!"

And I'll get the marshmallows....

Have you done this before, Ben?? "No... but it can't be beary hard..."

"And it would be a nice surprise treat for Jerry..."
But does it get messy???
"No idea... it's all a grand experiment!"

"Let's seeeeee..." mused Ben... "we've got all the ingredients... now... "microwave on.... uh-huh... yes... mmm-hmmm.... Beary easy!"

"Now... let's get the marshamallows... HEY!!! The bag is already open!"

"Sandy, did you see anybody??"
Me?? I was watching you!!

"hmmmm... that Hershey's bar looks kind of funny now..."

It's empty!!!

"This is serious!!"
No kidding... that was the only Hershey's bar in the house...
"You know what this means??"

Come on... you all know what this means... This is a case for.... (drum roll please!)

Ben Watson and Sherlock Sandy!! Together at last!

We started with possible culpri... er... witnesses... Sylvester was deep in his book but....

"I hate raw marshmallows," he said.

After a whispered consultation, we decided Sylvester was unlikely to have nipped into the marshmallow bag...

Which leaves us with... Suspec.... errr... Witness #1.... Who is hiding behind his book...

"Jerry.... yoo-hooo.... Jerrrrryyyy...."

"What??" grumbled/mumbled Jerry.... "I'm beary busy right now... I'm making a list of flowers that Papa HAS to get for our garden."

Another whispered consultation.... time to look for some evidence...

Nothing over here... no chocolate crumbs... no marshmallow fragments...

But... "what is this" exclaimed Ben!! "I think I have something Sandy!"

Oooh yes... that is definitely an empty Hershey's wrapper but... there was an empty one of the counter too...

"It wasn't me!" says Jerry, "I was framed!"

"Seriously... I think you guys need to look at the human behind the camera!"

Any thoughts readers??? Was Jerry framed or... is he trying to pin the blame where it doesn't belong??

  2. If Jerry can produce a list of the plants he was making then I would say that his alibi was as strong as Sylvester's. Was Rose in the house during this incident? What about Griz?
