Live Broadcast: Rain!!!!

We interrupt this pre-recorded vacation programming to bring you a live broadcast on breaking news... Hello?? Where are the lights?? Anyone?

Errr... hmmm... try that again! There we go! It is beary dark now at 6 a.m. Ah-hem...
Sandy Bear here, reporting from the window. Last night it started to rain just a little bit... but this morning, it really started to come down. This is excellent news since we really need the rain!

Can you hear it?? (P.S. If you get notifications via email, the video doesn't show up - you need to actually visit my blog page to see it).

  1. I'd call that a little more than rain. More like a monsoon!
The kind of rain that makes you want to crawl back in bed
read a book or go back to sleep!

It was raining beary early here too. It sounds like our rain has started up again
too, but not as hard as there. Mom is going to sew and do laundry today. Hope you find something fun to do today.

    1. Beary true! It was bucketing down! We are getting more rain this weekend than we've gotten in the last 4 months. The garden is loving it. Although I'm sure the slugs will come out now.

  2. The rain started down here last night as well. Our garden and trees love the rain. The weather people say the rain started up in your neck of the woods Sandy, I hope the rains get to the forest fires in Washington and Oregon. Are you experiencing big fires in BC this year?

    1. Oh my goodness, yes! We've had a beary bad forest fire season. Back in July we had really bad smoke from a fire on the mainland. Down here, there have been lots of brush fires started by homeless people's campfires. Everything really needs a good long soak.

  3. Glad you got some rain! If you need water, let us know, because we live in the land of 10,000 lakes (there is a little bit of fresh water here)...
