Tulips!

Hullo again. So, here we are... tulips. We have to be careful with our tulips because the local deer love to eat them. They don't touch the daffodils but... tulips are delectable apparently. Mama stucks some pear tree prunings around the tulips... and they are now flowering!

Don't they look pretty? I think they are all Hammie Red.

We picked a little bouquet for inside the house.

I love tulips!

We took advantage of the brief sunshine to have a look inside the shed. The Triad Rat Gangs have been busy in there! I didn't want to get involved in this, so I supervised from a distance while Mama hauled everything out. One of the gang members had scavenged some of the garden gloves and made a nest for itself under the floor. Mama rooted the rat out and it took off... it's nest is now filled with rocks! The joys of living close to the ocean apparently! The rat gangs sneak aboard in Asia and disembark here... sigh.

There we go. Tidier and decluttered! Now we can do some gardening!

  2. Sandy you are an excellent supervisor. Maybe you can use your supervision skills to train the rats to do something helpful like pull weeds? The tulips are blooming here as well, how can someone not love Spring?

  4. Tulips? Tulips!!! Jerry just crosses his arms and walks off in a huff. Ben says we've got to get him into the garden soon or there will be trouble. The red Hammie flowers are beautiful!

    1. Yup, tulips. I do think Jerry needs some garden time... either that or some bendy chocolate chip cookies fresh and warm out of the oven... ***drool***.

    2. Brilliant idea Sandy, you always have the best ideas. Ben will make cookies tomorrow...they always sooth the savage beast, or rather slightly upset little bears.
