Been Busy!

Can you believe it's been a week since I posted?? I can't. All I can say is... sekrebearies are super unreliable at this time of year! I did... however... get out for a walk, which was beary nice.

There was mist on the lake which made everything look eerie.

The sun even came out for a bit and I think that blue stuff up there is called "blue sky"... beary uncommon at this time of year.

The fog made it look like we were headed into nowhere.

I think we should go for more hikes like this!

I also got mail last week... from Buttons BeCause and his pal Scruffy!

Buttons and Scruffy are super talented and made their beary own Christmas card.

Which had stuff on the front cover, the inside....

And the back cover!!

AND!! There was another one of Button's patented felt Christmas decorations - so cute! I think Buttons and his Mom should open a little shop and sell these... Thanks Buttons!!

Last week, there was also some terrible events in Paris, France. I know that the pen is mightier than the sword... does that mean the paint brush is mightier than the gun?

  1. Well it's true...we were getting worried when we didn't see a blog post from you Sandy. SeKretaries are beary indeed BEARY unreliable; Ben has been tapping his foot for days for a post on our blog. It looks like you have great weather! We are still buried in snow so spring seems a bearly long way off.

    1. I know... I think I can hear Ben's foot-tapping from way up here! We haven't had any snow at all... although last year we got a tonne of it (relatively speaking) in February, so I may be able to wear my snow-outfit yet!

    1. We had some flakes fall from the sky in late December but they didn't stick to anything here.

  4. Wow, that sure took a long time to get there Sandy. Glad it finally arrived. The little tree is not one of mom's designs, but from a site called embroidery gardens. The tree is designed to fit on top of a pencil, mom just added the string to make it an ornament. Mom sometimes designs her own embroidery designs.

  6. That's a cool ornament! And the mist was definitely very spooky looking. Make sure you don't catch cold.

  8. Great mail! No snow here so far, just grey sky every day, but they say next week it will snow. Hope not! Waiting desperately for spring, flowers, green leafs, warmth from the sun...
