Vancouver!!

As some of you may have guessed from the previous posting... I went to Vancouver last weekend. It was a beary good trip but I had to get up super-duper early. Luckily there is a Starbucks at the ferry terminal. Have to keep a little bear happy you know...

And then... on the ferry, I crawled into Mama's laptop cover and had a nap while she worked away on stuff.

On this trip, we got picked up!! Which is way better than taking the bus.

My cousin Rose came along as well... she is getting super tall!

The sun was coming up... beary pretty.

And this is why I don't like living in the city - traffic!

Although, being as how it was so early... the Lion's Gate Bridge was pretty smooth and breezy.

Normally, after the bridge, you drive through Stanley Park on the Causeway... but we are taking a detour!

Oh boy!! Are we going to stop at Prospect Point and take photos of the awesome views??

Apparently not.

How about the Hollow Tree??

Again... no!

Second Beach along English Bay... nope...

Oh look... some Canada Geese!! These tourists stick around all winter down here... I wonder if I could convince one of them to fly me down to visit Little Fox?

A Starbucks!!! Can we stop here? Huh? Can we, can we???

Nope... do other stuffies have this problem??

But... at the house... there was someone who was beary excited to see me!! Daisy!

Ah-hah... heh-heh... stop, stop!!! She is tickling me... heh-heh... no doggie kisses!

  2. What a fun adventure! We agree, however, that it is beary difficult not to stop at a Starbucks...Jerry is always hoping that they'll have a clothing section for little bears! For a brief second, Ben thought that Rose looked like Little Red Riding Hood because her coat is so beary cool!

    1. No clothing section... this year there is a whole mug section though - quite boring. Rose loves that coat! But she is growing so fast that she might soon grow right out of it.

    2. Our Starbucks had a gift card section: maybe 30-40 different gift card designs from which you could choose! Hélas, none with little bears...Ben says he's going to complain to the management!

    3. I already tried complaining to management... via email of course. Four email replies later, I have a phone number to call... sigh.

    1. Daisy is a beary good little dog... and Mama keeps an eagle eye on us when we are together. She totally thrashes the toys that she knows are hers... can't tell you how many disemboweled squirrel toys I have seen. Ugh!

I hope you can convince one of those Canadian Geese to visit me down here, although when I try to talk to them they don't say much but squak a lot.

    2. We see a lot of those Canadian tourists too, and we always ask if they know Sandy, but Ben needs to brush up on his Canadian Geese language, because it's hard to understand them, eh?

    3. Well yes... and you know how it is... all Canadian tourists look alike to little bears and all little bears look alike to them. I'm sure they must meet all sorts of little bears in their travels. I have tried talking to them too but all they do is hiss at me!

    4. Yes, they do tend to hiss, and, well, they are sometimes not the most pleasant tourists because, and Bob T. Bear will giggle at this, but they poop all over the yard! We do have a nice bathroom, but they must be too much in a hurry.
