Mail!!!

Hullo! Today Mama was feeling a bit better and went out and got me something from Tim Horton's... I wonder what it is??

Ohhhh... a honey dip donut!!!

***Nom nom nom****... they are the best!!!

And... if a donut wasn't enough... there was mail too! A package from Jerry & Ben.

I wonder what's in here... it smells like chocolate!

Wow!!! It was my Halloween pumpkin contest prize!!! Look at all that great stuff! A cute card from them... and round chocolates that look like pumpkins... a bit-o-honey... and some stickers... and popcorn and more chocolate and... bacon gumballs??? No... really?? They taste like bacon?? Hmmm... I think it MUST be artificial bacon flavour just cause... you know... ***stage whisper*** Sullivan McPig might not like "real" bacon gumballs!

Thanks guys!!! And thanks for hosting the contest too!!

  1. Tim Hortons?1? You sure are a lucky bear, we LOVED Tim Hortons in Toronto...we hope they expand in the States. Glad the Halloween package arrived (did it really take a month to arrive??) We have to tell those Geese mail people to do less lay-overs and coffee chats with their friends along their route! hehe

    1. Thanks guys! Yes... it came the day before the posting. Apparently the new mail sorting facility at Vancouver Airport is still having hiccups! They were probably as mystified by bacon gumballs as Mama!

    2. We thought we'd better not send those gumballs to Sullivan, ahem, for obvious reasons, but we figured you might find them funny. I guess we should really send you our Christmas card to you in September to make sure it arrives on time...it might well be the U.S. postal service too, they can be slow.

    3. Hmmm.... I feel like I might be a character in a Harry Potter movie... they had strange jelly-bean flavours if I recall...

  2. What a nice way to spend a Saturday morning. I wish we had Timmy's in Portland too. For heavens sake we have plenty of Canadian Geese in my neighborhood, you would think Timmy's would set up a restaurant to feed all those ex-pats.

    1. You would think so, eh? It's sort of connected with Wendy's up here, which I think is an American brand... maybe your donut niche is a bit too narrow down there? Too many Dunkin' Donuts?

    2. We do have Dunkin Donuts, and we do like the coffee (when there are no Starbucks around), but TH has the best donuts, yummy. Maybe we need an international stuffie convention at Sandy's house so we can all go to TH!

    3. OK! We have TH and Starbucks - the best of both worlds. TH hot chocolate is something I turn my nose up at... I am a discerning little bear after all.

  3. That's a nice haul Sandy. Be sure to share some with your mom - I heard that sweets speed up the recovery process.
