Rainy Day Boredom

Hullo... yesterday was a beary, beary rainy day. Which is good for the garden, but not so good for little bears.

I was resigning myself to a day of couch potato boredom when Mama said she had found a couple of new items for my wardrobe!!

First... a sun hat for the garden!!!

I'm not toooooo sure about the ribbon though... what do you all think?

As you know, one of my alter egos is Sherlock Sandy and he had a blue dressing gown (a.k.a. house-coat)... and Mama found one!!! It is super-soft fleece...

And comes with a hood!!

I'm not too sure about the roses on it though...

Sherlock Sandy is ready for action!!

  1. The outfits look great Sandy! The robe looks snazzy, you just need a deerstalker cap and a pipe (that blows soap bubbles) and the look will be complete! Ben Watson is ready to assist you!

    2. You will enjoy it! We love the Jeremy Brett Sherlock Holmes series (esp. when we get a little popcorn, with honey mixed with the butter before being drizzled on the popcorn)!

    1. I will put aside the ribbon for Dilly! Not sure about the flowers though... they might be too well attached. My bear is called Theodore Edward Bear - or Ted E. Bear for short...

  3. It was a rainy week this week wasn’t it? Is that Theodore E. Bear I see attached to your pajamas? The blue dressing gown is perfect, are you going to take that outfit to the Sherlock Holmes Museum in London? I am with Jerry and Ben, a pipe that blows bubbles would be perfect for you!

    1. It is Theodore E. Bear! I think the dressing gown works well - and am definitely going to keep a sharp eye out for a pipe when I am in London. It is still raining here but the weekend is supposed to be "nice"... we'll see how that goes. All of our earth worms have come out of drought-hibernation!
